Biography

Angela Martin wakes up at 2:30 each morning to bring you breaking news from overnight and fun feature stories for News 3 at Sunrise. She also anchors News 3 at Noon along with Mitch Truswell. She joined the News 3 team in August 2006.

Angela started her career while still a journalism student at the University of Missouri. Her first assignment as a reporter for KOMU-TV, the NBC affiliate in Columbia, sent her to a hog farm in central Missouri. Since then, she's worked as a reporter and anchor in Omaha, Nebraska and Savannah, Georgia. Along the way, she's met and interviewed some of the most amazing, interesting and inspiring people.

Most of Angela's family lives in Texas, which is where she was born and raised. In her spare time, Angela enjoys reading, spending time with her family and she's looking forward to learning everything about Las Vegas.
